as a private beauty boutique, to ensure the best possible experience for each of our guests, the following etiquette & policies will be observed:

arrival / late arrival

• please arrive about 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for you to use the restroom & get settled in.  

• late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time to ensure that we are not delayed for the next guest. please appreciate that we cannot adjust pricing for reduced service time due to late arrival. lash lift treatments cannot be shortened; your 50% booking fee will be forfeited if the schedule does not allow.

• appointments scheduled for 20 minutes or less have a late grace period of 5 minutes and appointments longer than 20 minutes have a late grace period of 10 minutes, they will be cancelled & rescheduled with applicable missed appointment charges. 

cancellation policy

• wild kind beauty's policies are presented with the intention & tradition of providing unparalleled service for our established & future clientele. by booking an appointment, you are agreeing to these policies, as per signing the intake form.​

• your appointments are very important to us, & are reserved especially for you. should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully require at least 24 hour notice.

• the online booking system sends out 3 reminders and confirmation messages starting 72 hours, 48 AND 24 hours in advance... it is your responsibility to correctly manage your appointment dates & times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, & the cancellation fees.

• notification given at least 24+ hours are not subject to any fees, so the deposit is refunded and/or can be applied to an appointment if it is rescheduled.

• in the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments & cancellations, please be aware:​

• notification given less than 24 hours prior, UP UNTIL 1 HOUR PRIOR (so 2-24 hours) to appointment time is a forfeiture of the deposit or 50% fee of the total booked. this includes removing of any services on the guest's part during the appointment that was previously booked.​​

• each client is granted 1 "freebie" per year to this late cancellation policy, as we understand life happens and things come up!

• any cancellations within 1 hour of your appointment time will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service(s). this means forfeiture of a deposit plus charging the remainder of the service total booked.

• ANY/ALL NO SHOWING for your appointment will also result in a forfeiture of deposit plus charging the remainder of the service total booked.

• when you cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, or forget or miss your appointment, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time & clients on the waitlist miss the opportunity to receive services. 

all services regardless of time must be reserved & held with a 50% booking fee to be applied towards service upon completion​ any booking fees are subject to the cancellation policy as outlined above.

by scheduling with wild kind beauty, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this cancellation policy. if you are unable to respect the policies, unfortunately we will not be a good fit and I cannot afford to do business with you as my guest. 

intake forms & consultations

• health information intake is collected in order to promote a safe and healthy environment for my clients, to ensure continuity of information from one visit to the next, and to assist in customizing treatments to individual needs, particularly if there are medical issues or allergies which could have contraindications for certain products or services. no service is performed without a detailed consultation.

• consultations are a vital part of your decision making process. everybody’s needs are individual and I need to understand yours. my main concern is the well being of my clients and prospective clients, & consultations allows for a thorough discussion with regard to your needs and suitability for treatment. being made fully aware of the benefits, effects, side effects, risks, limitations and possible cost of any treatment allows you to make an informed decision with regard to your treatment and care.

• please advise the wild kind beauty of any special health conditions on scheduling your appointment as this may effect your selected treatment(s). should you experience high/low blood pressure, heart conditions, pregnancy, hypertension, cancer, allergies, skin rash, or any health conditions, I advise you to consult your doctor before your treatment and present me with a doctor’s note of approval. I have the right to refuse service due to contraindicated health conditions.
   

illnesses, cold sores, sunburns, etc.

the wild kind beauty recognizes that both the esthetician and clients are vulnerable to infections and therefore ask clients to cancel appointments when they are feeling unwell.  

• please give ample notice to reschedule your appointment the moment you believe you may be experiencing one of these illnesses.

• if you have any of the following contagious illnesses your treatments will be rescheduled: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chicken Pox, Shingles, Measles, Mumps, Meningitis, Hepatitis A, Conjunctivitis, Cold Sores, Rubella, Head Lice, Impetigo, Influenza, Meningococcal Disease, Polio, Ringworm of the body, feet or scalp, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Scabies, Sore Throat, Thrush, Whooping cough and the common cold.
